We are delighted to share that Meadow’s winning design from our Build a Bug House Competition has now been brought to life! Meadow’s design was selected as the winner and turned into a real feature to be placed in the courtyard of our new building The Green House.
The bug house was beautifully created by Mo Millar, who worked on the project for Acer Trust. Mo has since moved to a farm in Wales and was able to incorporate materials from her farm into the finished creation, making the bug house even more special and unique.
Meadow has now had the opportunity to see the finished bug house and chose the perfect spot for it in The Green House courtyard, where it can become a permanent part of our school environment. Meadow said that her idea was to create a Bug House that 'Lots of species would use'. We hope it won’t be long before lots of insects and bugs discover their new home!
A huge congratulations to Meadow on her wonderful design, and our thanks to Mo for bringing Meadow’s idea to life.
