National Healthcare Weekends. Medic Mentor are a social enterprise who mentor aspiring medics, dentists and vets from schools nationwide. They hold Healthcare Weekends throughout the where Doctors, Dentists and Vets, give lectures on work experience, personal statements, interview techniques etc, led by their team of doctors. Registration starts at £25. Students from low-income backgrounds can apply to attend for free, and teachers can attend for free. Students can register and find out more information here

OAS 'Meet the Employers' Virtual Careers Matching event on Wednesday the 3rd March 2021 from 5 - 7pm.  Several employer partners including UKAEA, STFC, Diamond Light Source, Abbotts, Jacobs, Williams and GKN plus many others will be attending the event.  The career matching event will be an fantastic opportunity for students in years 10 - 13 to meet and converse with employer partners direct and have access to their specific company’s virtual 15 minute presentations and ask questions about their company engineering apprenticeships. Students will need to register first - see here for details. 

Due to COVID19 restrictions our usual WOLP (West Oxfordshire Learning Partnership of Schools) Careers and Apprenticeship Events have been cancelled.  Instead, a virtual Careers will be held on Thursday 25th March 2021 where students can access employers and  colleges throughout Oxfordshire.  Details will be promulgated to students/parents/carers in due course.
